Our coconut cubes are made from dried coconut meat, which has been removed from the coconut shell and then gently dried to high quality standards. We offer coconut cubes in two different forms: grated and compressed cubes and sliced cubes. Both types of coconut cubes impress with their aromatic flavor and differ only in the hardness of the cubes.
Properties & Manufacturing
• Starting product: Dried coconut cubes are obtained from fresh coconut flesh. First, the white flesh of the coconut is separated from the hard shell and cut into cubes.
• Drying process: The cut coconut meat is gently dried, often by air drying or in special drying systems.
• The drying process reduces the water content, which makes the product last longer and intensifies the natural, nutty coconut flavor.
• In some manufacturing processes, a light roast may be used to achieve additional roasted aromas.
Taste & consistency
• Flavor: Dried coconut cubes have a mildly sweet, slightly nutty flavor, typical of coconut. The drying process concentrates the flavors, making the taste more intense.
• Consistency & appearance: The cubes have a firm to slightly crispy consistency, but can also be a bit tougher depending on the drying method.
• In terms of color, they retain the typical, creamy white tone of coconut meat.
Nutritional values & health aspects
• Fat content: Coconut cubes contain a high proportion of natural fats, especially medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which can serve as a quick source of energy.
• Fiber: They provide fiber that aids digestion.
• Vitamins & Minerals: Minerals such as iron, magnesium and potassium are found in dried coconut meat.
• Drying concentrates some nutrients, which increases the energy and calorie content.
• Sugar: The natural fruit sugar is also concentrated in dried coconut cubes
Allergens & Special Instructions
• Allergen information: Coconut is occasionally mistakenly classified as a nut allergen, but botanically belongs to the palm family (Arecaceae) and is not considered a classic tree-nut allergen by many allergy experts.
• However, in rare cases, even coconut can cause genuine allergic reactions. Therefore, people with known coconut allergies should be cautious.

• Topping: They also add extra flavor and texture to dishes as a topping for yogurt, smoothie bowls or cereals.
